Do you know a high school senior who could use a scholarship for college, junior college or a vocational or technical school? The San Diego County Ford Dealers can help. They are giving away $1,000 scholarships. San Diego County high school seniors graduating this spring can apply for the Ford Salute to Education scholarship.
Academic achievement is considered, but is not the determining factor. Scholarships will be awarded in arts, athletics, automotive, building design and construction, business management and administration, computer science and technology, foreign language, general, language arts, math, performing arts, science, social science and vocational/technical.
$1,000. scholarships will be awarded, and one lucky scholarship recipient will win a new Ford vehicle. The deadline to apply for a Ford Salute to Education scholarship is February 16th.
