Come help Surveillance Flux make some NOISE to raise awareness about the 17,000 jobs lost due to the catastrophic oil spill that took place on the Gulf Coast this last spring. We will be selling our exclusive "Have you heard" graphic tee's $17.01. All proceeds will go directly to the Gulf Coast relief fund. The Escondido Humane Society is having a "Home Sweet Home" celebration and Open House at the shelter, 3450 E. Valley Parkway. The Humane Society is celebrating the milestone of paying off the facility's mortgage. The event will feature facility tours, games for kids, food, microchip and vaccination clinic and no-cost adoptions for adult dogs and cats. Pets welcome (dogs must be on a 6-foot leash; cats and bunnies must be in carriers). Anyone who has adopted from the Escondido Humane Society is encouraged to bring their pets to help celebrate.
